April Events

I don't know what's up with Second Life these past six months or so, but I feel like I'm on constant event overload (like I've said a million times recently). Luna Dawn of L&K invited me to blog for The Challenge event. It's pretty new, but has some amazing creators involved! How it works is a new theme is presented every month, and on the last day of the month (so the 31st for March) the creators taking part release their items. This round's theme is California bungalow, and I was given a sneak peak of Follow Us's item, which is a set of cute director chairs and a treat bar. Only the chairs are shown in the pictures for this post.

It's also FLF today, and man, are there some cute things out there today. In the picture to the left, the little wooden stool is one of two versions available from Olive, and the blue stool is from Second Spaces. The stools come in three packs with two colors in each, and with the option of normal or shabby in each color. You'll have to buy all three sets when you see the choices, so plan on spending a bit more there today. The flag decor is also for FLF and available at fri.home.

Trompe Loeil has released a living room set that's to die for. I didn't show all of the pieces, or all of the colors, but there are a ton of other pictures you can check out on Flickr. In true Trompe Loeil form, the furniture comes in both a PG and adult version and has multiple textures to choose from.

ALSO, there's another Easter hunt going on called the Existence Easter Egg Hunt, and my favorite Floorplan is taking part. All the cute little lilac planters scattered around the shot are the prizes she's offering, and they come in all the favorite pastel colors.
